Intermediate (age 7+)

Focusing on composition, color theory, and values, this class allows students to experiment with various medium techniques, including clay, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and tempera. 90 minutes. Ages 7-9. THIS WEEK: This week we’re traveling to the seaside for this glorious landscape painting. With a focus on color and texture, students will discover various ways to imply depth in their art. Studying the characteristics of foreground and background, we will challenge their color mixing skills as they learn about atmospheric perspective.
